We keep a running calendar of things worth going to in Los Angeles—openings, one-night things, screenings, markets, readings, dances, sales, workshops, the good weird stuff that never makes a listings page.

The ones we most want are the ones that aren’t easy to find: a gallery show in someone’s garage, a supper club with no website, a monthly night at a bar in Highland Park, a plant swap, a repair café, a rooftop screening someone’s putting on for forty people.

Send us the what, the where, the when, the cost, and one line on why it’s worth the drive (this is L.A., after all). A link if there is one, an Instagram handle or an organizer contact if there isn’t. Submitting events at least two weeks out helps enormously, but sending it two days out is still better than not sending it at all.

You don’t have to be the organizer. If you are, say so, and include your contact information—we may ask you for more or, if you’re open to it, feature your event.
