There’s someone in your orbit (maybe it’s you!) doing something unusually cool, interesting, different, or groundbreaking that people should know about. We’re looking forward to the intro.

The florist who only works with what’s in season and will tell you why that’s a moral position. The guy who’s been repairing the same brand of turntable for thirty years. The person running a record label out of a garage in Glassell Park. A tattoo artist, a sign painter, a chef doing one dish, a curator who programs a single wall, a librarian who built a collection nobody asked for, someone’s grandmother with a fruit tree situation.

You don’t have to write anything. Just send us their name, what they do, and one sentence on why you find them interesting. Their Instagram if they have one; their contact info or how we can find/reach them if they don’t.

We’ll take it from there! If we decide to run it, we’ll keep you in the loop and credit you for the submission in the piece.
